I’ve a camera that screws into a special case, like this (it’s one of these but that one isn’t in its case, so it’s not as clear what I’m talking about):
Which means that it’s possible to put a roll of film in, forget to lock the back closed and shoot with it without anything happening until you try to take it out of the case. At which point the back falls off and your film is ruined.
There goes most if not all of a roll I was really looking forward to seeing :(
