Planned listening for the day, after I watch the newest How I Met Your Mother. Apologies and Great Cynics are two of the best bands in the UK right now and I’m so stoked to see them both next month so I’m gonna be listening to them both a lot in the next few weeks. I’m also really hooked on American Steel - Dear Friends… so I’m gonna go back to Jagged Thoughts and see if I like it more this time round. I was never really a fan of it before. Also some Rufio for good measure. I did say I was gonna start listening to their first two records again.
Dear Friends is a cracking pop punk record - it’s a lot of fun, and catchy as hell. Jagged Thoughts doesn’t do anything for me, either.
Jagged Thoughts never did anything for me either, but maybe I will have to check out the new one!
So fucking jealous of Rob, though. Someone needs to get Apologies, I Have None and Great Cynics and Crash of Rhinos and Crywank and Bangers and ONSIND and Calvinball and all those other awesome UK punk bands over here!
