1. If ‘feis’ is apparently the Irish stem for ‘fuck’, what does that make a feis ceoil?
2. According to my Foclóir (or Fucklore) Póca, the literal translation of that proverb is ‘fuck her agilely [acraí: supple, agile; flexible; adroit], fuck her slow!’ which is even better I think.
But you guys… what does it make an Árd Fheis?
An enormous fuck up?
