Literally just found out last Friday that the site I shoot for has a tumblr. You should check it out! Here’s a link to my Enter Shikari shots again (it’s the last gig I shot, OK?).

Today is the last day to make a donation towards the recording costs of Fight Like Apes’ new album. They’re 2 grand shy of their goal and if they don’t make it then they lose every single penny raised so far.

Which would suck.

A €10 donation gets you a “free” copy of the finished album, which is probably slightly less than you’d be paying for it in the shops anyway, assuming you can even find a shop these days. A mere €15 gets you a CD and a t-shirt, which is actually a pretty sweet deal when you think about it.

Fight Like Apes are a great band, and indirectly at least partly to blame for this project. They were the ones we originally bonded over, and it was through them that we were introduced to just how good the Irish music scene actually was. They’ve also always been very nice and supportive to us as people, on any number of occassions it would be impossible to talk about without breaking our anonymity.

So you should definitely go give them some money, because we rreeaallllyy want to hear this new album.

It’s funded now but I think you can still donate! I’m planning on at least giving enough to get the album but they’ve loads of great incentives if you’ve a bit more cash than me…
