Day 11: A song by your favourite band.

You know, I’m kind of in between favourite bands at the moment. A long time ago now, it was System of a Down, then Fugazi, then probably Defiance, Ohio, then it was Andrew Jackson Jihad for a while. I’ve never been the type to have one band that really stands out above the rest, that I keep coming back to in the same way. I mean I still love all those bands (well. love is a bit strong for SOAD, but I’ll always have a soft spot for them), but I don’t have a favourite the way some people do.

Anyway fuck it here’s an Andrew Jackson Jihad song because I seriously do still love them a huge amount. This is their cover of Two-Headed Boy, because I have at least two followers who are fans of covers and Neutral Milk Hotel. Also because it has a really awesome sleeve by Mitch Clem.

Someone just reblogged the original photo this is based on from me (how far back did they go to find that??). Anyway I clicked the ‘fuck yeah sean bonette’ tag. This is the only post on tumblr that still has that tag. I am glad it’s one of the crappy original DIY backgrounds, not the memegenerator ones that cropped up later.
